10.01.2022 Have you purchased your copy of Caroline Sharkey’s The Digital Cloth - A Textile Artists Haven? In this issue there is an exhibition of face masks from artists around the world. I feel very honoured to have my mask featured along with my favourite artists: Ro Bruhn, Elizabeth Armstrong, Anne Kelly, Katherine Harmer Fox....far too many to list! Go online & check them out, truly inspirational.

09.01.2022 Forgive my lack of updates & interaction. Unfortunately we are having major problems with our internet. I’m very sad to say that I’ve had to cancel Ro Bruhn’s workshop at the end of October. Gerringong Quilt Show has also been cancelled for 2020. The great news is I’m excited that Caroline Sharkey’s class is scheduled for 4, 5 & 6 December. So looking forward to seeing her for Blossoms & Birds workshop.

06.01.2022 One Red Thread - Karen McGregor DIY Acorn Pantry What a fantastic idea! Create your own acorn pantry which no other species can access! In North and South America, Acorn Woodpecker family groups alter a tree over generations to create the ideal acorn stash for the winter months, called a granary. They keep making their changes to the tree (with their beaks!) until it can store up to 50,000 acorns. I think that is a pretty impressive way to alter your surroundings, and don’t t...hey look super cute and clownish doing it! Inktense blocks, fabric collage, thread-painting with rayons, quilting.
