17.01.2022 Message from the President, We hope you are all coping and doing well in this current lockdown. It has surely been a tough time for all and I am looking forward to seeing you all out on the field ASAP. ... With the current numbers and next stage looming I wanted to reach out and give a small update on what’s happening behind the scenes. At current there is nothing confirmed however, Pending case numbers and pending Baseball Victoria and the state government as well as local council we are hopeful that we may be able to get back to some sort of training end of October/early November. While I note this is not confirmed rather just forward thinking and a lot of finger crossing. When the time does come to get back to training there will be strict protocols all members must take of which I will point out when the time comes. The ground is also starting to take shape with a hopeful completion end of November, which is defiantly an exciting time for all members young and old. In the mean time stay safe, look out for one another and we will be in touch as soon as we know something. Should anyone have any questions please reach out and will do my best to answer or assist where possible. Thanks in advance Blake Cunningham President

16.01.2022 It’s official! The Berwick City Cougars are happy to announce that Club Coach/Manager Shaun Surtees has been extended for a further 2 seasons! Shaun successfully led the Cougars to a 12-13 record during his first VSBL Division 1 season in 2019/20, growing +3 wins from the season previous when the club participated in Division 1 for the very first time.... A 20 year member of the club, Shaun’s display of leadership across all levels has made the club’s choice very easy to extend him to 2021/22. Congratulations Shaun!

Not limited to just players, these are available to everyone!... Please note, if you intended on playing this season, face coverings will be required. In the Division 1, 1st’s game, the Cougars were led by some timely 2-out hitting from the likes of Aidan Willis, Brad Kmet, Marcus Graham and Matthew Homfray, splitting the game open in the 6th with 4 runs, all with 2 out. 05.01.2022 The Berwick City Cougars would like to extend our sincerest condolences to Jacinda Barclay and her family. Jacinda was apart of Berwick’s women’s program in 2010-11 as they won the club’s first ever Women’s Division 1 premiership. Rest in Peace Jacinda, you will be dearly missed.
