18.01.2022 Today is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women - and the first day of the 16 Days of Activism. Violence against women is the resul...t of longstanding inequalities and disrespectful attitudes towards women in every day life. Sometimes it's overt. But more times than not, it's so subtle or ingrained, we do it ourselves without even questioning it. Over the next 16 days, in our Facebook and Instagram stories, we'll be sharing 16 ways each of us can do our bit to move attitudes forward in our communities, with a series of graphics developed by Women's Health in the North. Please share them! #16DaysOfActivism

07.01.2022 COMMUNITY GARDEN UPDATE Exciting news we now have a sign for our Community Garden!! This makes it so much more official and people passing by can see who operates this little garden and who to contact to become involved. It is exciting to see the progress over the last 12 months even with COVID restrictions and lockdowns. We are looking forward to having the opportunity for more community involvement and seeing what we can achieve next year when hopefully all is better with the world. Take care Kim
