02.01.2022 Hi all I must say what a beautiful day it was up the mountain this morning, just stunning. The amount of snow up there is quite amazing,we didn’t expect that the...re would be so much snow up there. I have taken pics of everything this morning for all to see how much snow was up there.Yes I have seen more before but there was quite a good depth up there We headed along the hwy ,through Kiandra and first stop was one of the old cars.If the car is buried in snow then it’s very deep but it wasn’t ,just half buried but it goes to show the depth. The car is a good gauge. We headed to Long Plain and parked. We entered Long Plain on foot and saw a small mob ,they didn’t hang around and took off very quick smart. We walked up Long Plain rd a little bit the snow depth turned us around and by the looks of it it also has turned NPWS vehicles around as there were tyre tracks that didn’t go very far in ,they stopped and also turned around. We drove here and there and saw a few regular brumbies .Brumbies that we see all of the time just hanging out in the warmth of the sun. We decided to go and look for the Odd mob .They are a gorgeous mob that usually shelter in an area not too far away.We walked into the treeline a little and there they were. They are well ,grazing away happily. See pics Thanks everyone Michelle xx See more
