18.01.2022 I am supposed to be flying from Japan to Hong Kong right now after a fabulous cruise around Japan - I can’t wait to travel again - where were you supposed to be this month or what would be doing if you weren’t in isolation?

18.01.2022 PLEASE READ - I’m sure a lot of you don’t know, otherwise you wouldn’t be lining the pockets of rich overseas owned companies with your money (see below)- hopefully you would rather help the travel adviser who always has your back and will fight tooth and nail for you and is always available to help you - ME - Beth Hewat. Even if it is just 1 night in Sydney or Gold Coast (anywhere)- give me a try - you will be surprised at the prices I can get for you and 99% of the time i... am cheaper plus you have the security of knowing you have me to speak to at anytime (Not being diverted all over the internet) I know people who have lost thousands during this horrible pandemic because they booked online and have no contact number) I have given back every cent I received from wholesalers and airlines including my commission on all my bookings I had to cancel this year due to Covid and will be doing so until at least December (for Europe, USA,my Northern Lights tour) - some bubbles will open soon for Pacific Islands NZ etc (hopefully) and Australia is now open to some states without having to quarantine. My main concern is to look after my clients. It has been absolutely heart breaking both for the clients not being able to go on their dream holidays and for me working for no money since mid February. I am highly qualified due to continually keeping my training up to date as things change so quickly in the travel industry, going on Famils to check places and ships out, and I have travelled extensively plus I have direct contact with over 400 MTA agents and a very experienced head office who can advise me when I am not sure of the condition and position of a particular hotel or any other questions I might have so I have the whole world covered. So next time you are going away even if only for a night or 2 flick me an email or ring me and if I can’t get as good a price (unlikely) I will be very grateful that you gave me a chance. 05.01.2022 Facebook tells me it has been a while since I posted but with all these cancellations I am doing and the travel restrictions it has been the most difficult and emotional time in my 30 plus years in the travel industry and my little travel business has suffered enormously but it will NOT stop me. I thought as the bubble is slowly widening (except for us in QLD) I would start putting some Australian Specials and some 2021 overseas specials.

04.01.2022 After the horrendous year I have had Wendy is taking me on a stress relief road trip. Thursday we called into The beautiful gardens in Toowoomba on our way to Roma for the night - then we had 3 nights with her family in Clermont (a beautiful little town) stopped for lunch in Barcaldine and had a look about the little town with the tree of knowledge and the great shearer’s strike of the 1800’s - now on our way to Longreach for 3 nights

02.01.2022 Finally some safe places we can go for a holiday break and boy do I need one. You can travel between the green states WITHOUT having to quarantine if you are FROM the green states so ask me about accommodation, tours, car and camper van hire in QLD, NT and SA. It’s a great time of year to see the Red Centre, QLD Islands and Barrier Reef, Cairns, QLD Outback or MY favourite place in Australia -Darwin. Hopefully the pink states borders will be open soon. 01.01.2022 I know a lot of you are waiting on refunds but please be patient - I have been working very hard and have done everything on my end and am waiting on the suppliers who are doing their best but are inundated with requests. I know there was bad publicity on TV last night which really annoys me because I own a Travel Agency franchise and I assure you I have not charged any of my clients to cancel their bookings and I have earned $0.00 since February and am working everyday and ...night to get the best outcome possible for my clients and refunding every cent I receive from suppliers. I will put refunds in your bank accounts as soon as I receive them as I have already done for the ones received. Thank you to my clients who have phoned and emailed me thanking me and telling me not to stress - they know I am doing all I can - I really appreciate it.
