19.01.2022 This also happens with parents and families. Spend the time to build the relationship and meet their needs. Sending your child to be cared for by someone else is a HUGE emotional rollercoaster for parents. Having someone who is there for them can have a positive impact.

16.01.2022 What do you do for yourself???? Early Childhood Professionals give so much of themselves to others. It is an industry that are at risk for staff burning out. Its hard work to constanly care for others. But we need to take the time to care for ourselves too. Remember the safety message on planes put your own oxygen mask on before helping others. You cant be of help to others if your not looking after yourself. Yesterday afternoon/night, I enjoyed a lovely night away. Checked in to a hotel with my bestie and mum and just relaxed. No pressure to care for anyone but myself! Ive come home refreshed and ready for the week ahead.
