RUSTY PICKUPS release the down-home country first single 'Good Honey' from their upcoming EP New Near Enough Records welcomes to the family Rusty Pickups, a three-piece hailing from Toowoomba, who release today their brilliant first single 'Good Honey' from their upcoming 'Good Honey EP'. This song is just a taste of things to come with its swaggering old school country storytelling, clawhammer banjo and interplay of acoustic guitar and keys. It is a brilliant back to old school country track that showcases the history of this band and its members but looking forward with their roots firmly positioned within country, folk, alt-country and Americana. 17.01.2022 n these times of separation and isolation it is good to finally have a little light at the end of the tunnel with a double bill of Rusty Pickups and Suicide Swans releasing their respective records at The Met Hotel in Toowoomba. Both bands will play 3 sets during the night and so you seriously have no excuse to miss out. Tickets are selling fast so get on board an see both bands once if not twice or why not stay the whole night and see them three times. 05.01.2022 Been a year since we kicked off First Friday as an idea to revitalise Toowoomba’s Music Scene. In that time we’ve sold out 6 from 6 First Friday shows, had over 50 performers at First Friday Open Mics and organised acts and production for the First Coat Street Party and a few other shows around Toowoomba too. Looking forward to getting back in the saddle @met_hotel July 25th!

03.01.2022 Okay! So we did some more math as the late mail suggests some disappointed home bound punters who’d rather be gettin their Americana on at the Met. SO! With 2, 3 and 5 tickets left for the three shows we’ve been able to call on our backup numbers and add 4 more tickets to each show. We’ll be holding these 4 tickets for the door so if you’re quick you can still pinch a few now, but if you miss out just make sure you’re there bang on time and you can snap up the late options. We’re very excited for this one!
