01.01.2022 Life gets busy, then it gets busier, and just when you feel like you are due for a break, it gets even busier! The question is, how many months are going to go by before you make your health a priority? How bad a shape do you have to be in before you realise YOU are worth looking after? I was a nurse for over 20 years and I have seen so many people experiencing the results of not putting their health as a priority, of putting everything and everyone else before it, ignoring ...their declining health and fitness thinking one day, they will start looking after themselves, when the kids are older, when they don’t have so much on at work, so much to do at home, when they are sleeping better..... but the right time never happened, or worse, it was too late. What do people miss out on when their health falls away? What is quality of life like when you spend more and more time facing more and worsening health problems and more time in hospital?
