Paul is a fully qualified Horticulturist and landscaper with 25 years experience in the Horticultural and soft scapes landscaping field. Paul is passionate about his work, with a unique flair for visual garden designs. He has a broad and diverse range of knowledge about all aspects of Horticulture. Paul is a very devoted family man with four adult/teenager children. Paul and his wife Louise have recently moved to the Beaudesert area, after buying 100 acres at Kerry. They are looking forward to immersing themselves into the Beaudesert community. Welcome to the team Paul!

13.01.2022 Beaudesert Hardware will again be holding some bonsai workshops in spring for those interested in learning this horticultural art form. The first workshop will be for beginners and you will learn the basics of how to create a bonsai using a small leaf jade using the clip and grow method which doesnt usually require wiring. You will get to have a lot of fun learning about and creating a Bonsai that you get to take home. This workshop will be held at Beaudesert Hardware on Sat...urday 12th September 9:00 to 12:00 midday. Bookings essential max 5 participants ph 5541 1888 ask for James. The cost is $35 and includes materials used in the workshop. Covid-19 safety measures will be practiced. The second workshop is a BYO workshop, you can bring your existing bonsais that need some work done on them or trees that you want to make into a bonsai and get the help you need to get them looking their best. We will give you the help you need to achieve this, supply wire if needed and have a range of tools for you to use. Pots and potting mix is available for sale if needed. This workshop will be held at Beaudesert Hardware on Saturday 3rd October 9:00 to 12:00 midday. Bookings essential max 5 participants ph 5541 1888 ask for James. The cost is $20. While we are still looking for a full time Garden Leading Hand, Janice has stepped up to fill in for now. She has many years experience and can help you with all your gardening questions. Here is a little about Janice, come in and say Hi to her today "All forms of gardening excite me! At 15 I started work in the plant nursery industry in a wholesale nursery. Since then Ive worked in man...y areas of wholesale then retail, landscaping, private gardening, working as a volunteer for the Australian Open Garden Scheme & always having my own gardens. Even when Ive had jobs out of this industry Ive kept my hand in just because Im passionate about growing. Ive lived & worked in & around Beaudesert for 37 years including here at Mitre 10 from 1988 to 2000. Its great to help people work out solutions for their plant & garden needs & see the creations customers make.
