02.01.2022 Last week, our community lost its queen. A lady so well known, loved and respected. I did not know her personally, but on the few occasions that we interacted, she made me feel so happy, and just like I was talking to my best friend. In this past week I have watched a community haul together to support her family and show them how much she was loved and will be missed. I feel so proud and honoured to be part of a community with such a strong spirit. Yesterday, the day of her... funeral, around 100 balloons were picked up and tied to the letterboxes in our little town of Mandalay, and as I drove around I had tears of happiness and sadness. I wish I had the chance to really get to know her. See more
