25.01.2022 The most important factor once you have started your Pain-Free journey is gaining the knowledge of what you need to do and why it is happening. The way to getting the desired results is for you to understand and be in full control of your movements. You may be seeing one, two or even three different people to get Relief.... This is exactly what I needed last night. 1 First my body feels tired... 2 Then over time my head becomes foggy 3 Headache starts creeping in 4 Motivation starts to slow down Don't ever feel weak for needing rest! Rest is always needed for the body to recover. Whether it's from: A heavy training week Big week of exams Sleepless nights with the kids Stressful week with work So many negative effects happen from keeping your body and mind exhausted... Always recognise the signs early and don't be a hero and keep pushing through it. Take the rest, let the body recover and amazing things will happen! I promise!!! Does this ever happen to you? Let's break it down a bit more: "PAIN" Can be from a muscle ache to a shooting, burning or stabbing sensation - It might start radiating down your leg or worsen with bending, twisting, lifting, standing or walking. "PAIN" is now associated with one body part. The part that you grab when it hurts. PAIN sends a signal that the body needs protection and healing If PAIN is ignored then acute pain may become chronic - PAIN has no end if untreated BOTTOM LINE if left untreated your PAIN will travel and will affect more then one area. I'm not here to lie to you and tell you there is a fast and easy fix.... I'm not promoting some "short cut" or a "secret" to getting "six pack abs instantly!" There's no quick fix. You can't rush results. BUT we can make tweaks to our plan to help ourselves get better results FASTER! Bottom line is that you MUST TRUST THE PROCESS It can be incredibly difficult to trust the process. It’s like you’re telling yourself to just commit 100% and wait and see if it is going to work. The foot and ankle have important roles but in a nut shell: Supports your body weight, Providing balance Shock absorption FUN FACT Energy from the ground and healthy movement is transferred through the feet up into ankles, knees, hips and into the spine, all the way up to the head.... So when you think about it - They are the first part of your body to hit the ground when you are moving. As with any part of your body if there are tight spots then you have started the DOMINO EFFECT inside the PAIN CYCLE... It just so happens I love the FEET... You would think that automatically our bodies would just work wellbut this isn't the case. Think about your daily activities... Not only can poor functional movement habits lead to injuries, but the body will accept these muscle habits as the way to always move! 04.01.2022 . Read it again When I read this and realised how true it is...... ' !! When watching people workout in a gym I actually wonder if they know what they are doing or are they just doing it because "Everyone else is doing it?" When you set out training whether for an event or personal, do you have a destination in your goals or are you "just chipping" away at the same thing? If you are "Chipping away" are you getting the results you desire OR Do you even know what you desire? So like the quote says "To much action with little intent is wasted energy" With any goal you must take the stepping stones to reach the destination.... This means a plan or phases for this to happen! Life is busy and "energy" is precious... Unless you have LOADS of time then stop wasting the energy and get yourself a process. Then you can absolutely SMASH your goals!! What are your goals? Do you have a process... a program...??? Would love to hear from you!!!!
