21.01.2022 For 21 days now I have been doing 25 push ups each day and will be doing so for another 4 days to raise awareness for Depression, Anxiety, PTSD and suicide. Exercise has been proven to elevate those happy hormones, which indeed it did for me when doing my push ups, but how do we keep this happy balance? I certainly can't do push ups all day. Did you know that keeping the gut bacteria nourished with the right type of fuel has a significant impact on our mood. But it also has t...o be the right type of bacteria in our gut. The good bacteria in our gut when fed well produces by products that support healthy mood and behaviour. Healthy food can in some cases increase aggression, depression, irrational behaviour in people if the bacteria in the gut is not right flora.

17.01.2022 My biggest tip to keeping healthy and fit during this time of events is: * Stay true to your fitness regime. If you use to getting up and going to the gym at 6am then keep on getting up and exercise at that time. It will keep you in a routine that your familiar with and help keep happy endorphins and a healthy immune system. * keep it simple but give yourself challenges eg. Mon 20 mountain climbers, Tues 30 mountain climbers, Wed 40 mountain climbers etc.... Don’t forget exercise is not just about losing weight, building muscles but the biggest benefit is improved energy, health and self worth. SELF WORTH - personally I know my fitness & health enables me to have the inner strength to provide a loving nurturing environment for my family. 15.01.2022 Thank you to all that have completed my survey on how to exercise smarter. So far the feedback has outlined 'deadlifts' as the main exercise that you would like to learn to perform better. So lets do this. I will organise a FREE mini training clinic working on the deadlift. We will look at individual functional movement patterns, improving technique and different variations of a deadlift to tailor towards individual goals. 07.01.2022 IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING REOPENING....... Thank you all for your patience and understanding while I work towards complying with regulations for re-opening. As restrictions have eased I can once again welcome all of you looking to improve your health, fitness and well-being through my one-on-one fitness/physique coaching sessions, online training programs or clinical nutrition programs. ... Appointments will be available as from 15 June 2020 with some new conditions in place. Private health fund benefits are still available through specific funds for all nutritional consultations, face to face and online via phone/skype/zoom. Private one on one fitness/physique coaching will also recommence, however 1.5m social distancing standards will be strictly adhered to during consultations and training sessions. Your safety as well as my own are of the upmost importance to me and the following regulations have been put in place: Completion of the Australian Government COVID-19 Infection Control training Practice efficient hand hygiene and etiquette Minimising the number of people within the clinic and fitness studio to allow for adequate physical distance Tailor personal fitness coaching sessions to include only exercises that do not require physical contact between coach and client, including equipment used Scheduled 15 mins between physical coaching sessions and or clinical appointments to allow for adequate cleaning between clientele Equipment will be thoroughly cleaned daily, using appropriate alcohol-based cleaning products and have sufficient hand sanitiser available If feeling unwell, all clients will be notified and any appointments re-scheduled, with self-isolation if required For those with scheduled appointments: You must not attend the clinic or fitness studio if feeling unwell, you will be charged for your appointment if you show up sick and sent home. If you are not sure, please phone ahead and check with me if you need to cancel. If you arrive early you will have to wait in your car until it is time for your appointment. This is to ensure we are always complying with social distancing regulations and allow for cleaning of all high touch areas. An alcohol-based hand sanitiser must be used upon arrival and will be readily available for your use. Bring your own water bottle and a clean towel every private fitness/physique coaching session, as currently we are unable to lend any. Unfortunately, no towel will mean you will be sent away and charged for your appointment. All nutritional intake forms, readiness for exercise forms and consent forms need to be completed online, with payment required at time of booking.
