The Equality Project invites individuals and organisations to submit a proposal for a presentation, workshop or panel discussion to explore the most relevant issues facing the LGBTIQ+ movement in Australia.... Submissions to propose a session at Better Together 2021, the 4th National LGBTIQ+ Conference, will close on 31 January 2021.

14.01.2022 Red Phoenix Theatre have launched their Adelaide premiere production of The Laramie Project at Holden Street Theatres from October 21 - 30. The Laramie Project is a play by Moisés Kaufman about the reaction to the 1998 murder of gay University of Wyoming student Matthew Shepard in Laramie, Wyoming. 04.01.2022 The SA Ambulance Service is looking to develop some patient story videos for their SAAS Governance Committee and Clinical Education team. They are keen to interview a member/s of the LGBTQI+ community who have experienced an emergency first hand with SAAS and would be willing to share their experience on film (both positive and negative experiences are sought). These films are not for public viewing, only for internal learnings for the SAAS. They will run for approx 2 minute...s each and will answer 3-4 questions on their experience with SAAS. Each person will have about 2 hours for filming, either at your residence or in a local park. The questions will be sent to you before the interview so you can prepare what to say. Dates for filming are preferably: Jan 27 Wednesday available anytime between 9-5 OR Jan 28 Thursday available between 9am-12pm (or we will look to find some dates the first week of Feb) For further information or to participate, please contact the team at [email protected]
