22.01.2022 La Sante (Hallowed Crown x Koonya) will line up in the Kooringal Stud Murrumbidgee Turf Club Guineas over 1600m on Friday. After being dually accepted in the Class 2 1400m at Wagga Wagga tomorrow as well as the Guineas on Friday, the call has been made that La Sante will contest the MTC Guineas. Sean Guymer who knows him well will be on his back. This is the first time he will be tested over 1600m and we can only expect a rain affected track..... La Sante is currently $15 in the betting.
22.01.2022 We are very excited to have our aptly named Love N Peace line up in the Group 3 Chairmen’s Stakes on Anzac Day at Morphettville. The Chairman’s Stakes (2035m) boasts a total prize pool of $120,000 and is for horses aged 3 years-old and is run under set weight conditions. This is a massive step up in class for Love N Peace (handicap rating 66) but having shown his ability to stay, after his gallant win at Strathalbyn over 2050m with 60.5kg on his back at his last start, it s...eemed hard to resist having a crack at this Group 3 event on Saturday. As you would expect it is a tough field but Love N Peace is a tough horse and we know he will be giving it his best! A huge effort from our LnP to finish right beside the VRC Derby winner and it weren't for that knock in the straight.. we might have actually finished ahead of Warning. Must be noted it was a sterling ride by Kayla Crowther. We couldn't be happier with LnP's progress in his first race preparation to win 3 races and finish 4th in a Group 3 is a great achievement by this little horse. Now its time for a well deserved rest.. see you in 3 months Love N Peace, cant wait to see you back for the Spring!
