16.01.2022 For the last 6 months I've been working on a photographic series titled "The Nostalgic Bride" where I've been photographing women wearing their old wedding dresses. I've just submitted a few of my favourite images from this series to the 2020 Lens Culture Exposure Awards. 12.01.2022 Self portrait, New Zealand 2017. Eight days ago I travelled some 5,343 km’s seeking to try and find my creative voice again. My mojo for taking photos. Somehow this last 6 months I felt it slip away.... Thankfully creativity is contagious and by being surrounded by a group of down to earth, humble and truely talented photographers at @abitmoresoul I think I’ve found it. I was reminded of that feeling of wanting to create, of wanting to pick up my camera to share my soul with... the world. It feels good to be back. Home today to hug my boys and breath in some West Coast salty air. Life’s good

10.01.2022 It’s so devastating watching our beautiful country go up in flames. I sat and watched the news this morning with my two boys, not sure if I should expose them to the loss and devastation or protect their innocence from the safety of our home here on the West Coast. But I think it’s important they see what’s unfolding. And I I think it’s even more important they have faith that in times of utter devastation, there are always people helping. As Fred Rogers once said When I was... a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me ‘Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.’ And gosh that’s so bloody true of the Australian spirit. It’s inspiring seeing all the people getting their hands dirty, our volunteer firefighters risking everything for others safety, people making donations and setting up fundraisers, individuals rescuing wildlife, people opening up their homes to others and just everyday Aussies being leaders in our community when our government leaders have fallen short. I want to join in this heroic effort and do my part, so I’ve set up a print store with a collated collection of images from my 2018 travels around Australia. 100% of profits from sold prints during the month of January will be donated to the Red Cross Australia.
