23.01.2022 Just a little GQ SWB chassis extension to make it a MWB. A popular modification amongst the winch truck scene. This one complete with only one joint to acheive the extra wheelbase, along with a 3D modeled rear crossmember with integrated winch mount. This one is for All Car and Truck in Smithfield.

22.01.2022 We do more than fabrication. We have a mechanic on duty and offer all aspects of mechanical and auto electrical services. Post isolation inspection for Marks HDJ78 Troopie before he sets off for the long weekend to Googs Track. A slight wheel bearing adjust all round, replacement snorkel hat, clearing the grease passage on a rear shackle were all part of the fixes aswell as a full fluid check sees his troopie fit for the tracks.

22.01.2022 We have been contracted by a Louvre manufacturer to streamline their product fabrication process. Here we have some 3mm 5083 Aluminium strips being cut for one of their fitouts.

21.01.2022 This current model Prado had a custom airbox and snorkel fitted. Only to leave the customer with water being flicked into the snorkel by the windscreen wipers and engine warning lights from airbox restrictions. The existing airbox had only a 3" inlet compared to the original toyota airbox having 3.5". This was in conjunction with the incorrectly sized (Air Flow Meter) AFM tube, resulting in incorrect mass air flow volume calculated by the ECU which inherently resulted in engi...ne fault light. We rectified the problems: extended the snorkel, re-manufactured the air box to use a genuine OEM style filter. Correctly sized AFM tube diameter. We also fitted a pair of our kicker style rock sliders while we had the vehicle.

19.01.2022 Sliders....sliders everywhere. A batch of Y62 sliders for DASH Offroad, aswell as some for a neat, well setup Prado, and a D40 Navara. The Prado is fitted with our premium slider version with profiled Aluminium top plate to set off those sleek Toyota style lines.

17.01.2022 From 3D model to conception, this GU airbox turned out perfectly. Utilising an OEM style panel filter, this UFI 18g and pump powered GU TD42 now has enough air filter and snorkel flow to make the most of the goodies.

17.01.2022 We apologise for the delay in any slider and fabrication orders. We welcomed Lillian into our lives sooner than expected on Monday 10th August. Her older sister Abigail is already doing a great job in her big sister role. Orders are still being manufactured as fast as we can without the boss on site. We have had longer than normal turn around times with sand blasting of late but please bare with us, we are doing the best we can. ... There are some aspects of the fabrication process that Andrew is the only one able to do and with him juggling Abigail duties, and hospital visits, his time at work is minimal this week. 17.01.2022 A neat MWB Cruiser with an LS1 conversion in for some Big O love. Air box Inlet duct Stainless 4" snorkel... Fan shroud Adjust shifter linkage Install an in tank fuel pump Plus a few other little tidy up jobs. All our air boxes are designed, 3D modeled, CNC plasma cut and fabricated in house for a perfect fit and function.

13.01.2022 This nice BT50 came in for us to fit a customer supplied Lovells lift kit. Looking good now. If you purchase a lift kit and need it installed, don't hesitate to call to get a quote.

13.01.2022 The last job for Australian Louvre Industries. Cut 80 pieces of a beefy extrusion and weld them to some 50x6 flat bar. I reckon I had my Ally MIG hat on for this job.

12.01.2022 Another batch of Patrol Lower Control Arms all done, now off to powder coating. All made using CNC machined bosses with 1.75" 4130 tube and TIG welded together. Supplied with genuine Nissan bushes, not genuine style like other manufacturers. $395 a pair. Freight available.

09.01.2022 Happy New Year from the team at BIG O 4X4. No rest for us here at BIG O 4X4. A full house right through out the "break". OV11 Doctors Prado in fir a sneaky 3rd battery install, making sure all the life saving equipment is charged from its own battery. With multiple USB, and other 12V outlets installed.... The SASed HDJ100 in for some custom CrMo wide axle housings to pass engineering. A custom bullbar with matching brush bars and BIG O 4X4 Kicker sliders for this sweet NP300 A not so common V6 D40 in for a guard entry powder coated snorkel and airbox, fitted a JT intercooler and King Brown exhaust. All to ve finished then sent fir a tune. A sneaky LS1 in an LJ.....plus tubs, electruc power steering, new floor pan and heaps more. Plus other big projects and things to come from BIG O 4X4 in 2020.....maybe a Barra Patrol, more to come on the cantilever race truck, Terain Tamer 40 series.....who knows what else.....more machinery.....more Off The Shelf sliderscand rear bars.

09.01.2022 A "simple" LS swap on a courier single cab happening here. Brought to us for engine mounts, gearbox crossmember, chassis crossmember, and mount the supplied radiator....keeping the air conditioning condenser.

08.01.2022 Alex's clean D40 V6 in for a Pacemaker king brown exhaust, fit a Jonny Tig intercooler, custom Big O 4x4 stainless snorkel and air box, mount and plumb in a Provent catch can, and had previously fitted it out with a Dobinsons MRR Lift. Then we took it to Power Tech tuning for a tweak....making good numbers. It is a pleasure to drive.

06.01.2022 We have been busy trying to catch up on our Rock Slider orders. They keep rolling in. Here we have two sets for GU Patrols, two for Y62 patrols for DASH Offroad, and a pair for an NP300 in for custom bull bar and brush bars. We wont be able to manufacture many more before we break for Christmas but make sure you book in for early in the new year.... BIG O 4X4 Chassis brace BIG O 4X4 Kicker Sliders Rear panel to mount his parking sensors and camera Supply and fit a 25mm Body Lift Modify the bull bar to suit the body lift Now ready to get the tray re-coated.
