25.01.2022 Arthur Christmas comes to the Pelican RSL this Friday! That great Christmas movie - Arthur Christmas - will be screened at the Pelican RSL - rain or shine! Free public event. Hope to see some of you there. The team from Harrington Entertainment will also be set up there too. A great family night out.

23.01.2022 Last night's movie event out at Umina went very well. Despite the seabreeze we managed, with the help of the Jasmine Gardens team, to get the screen stabilised for the event. It was really great to see the solid community support for this. Thank you to all.

22.01.2022 Inaugural Food Fun and Flicks event. The weather eventually played along, but as they say fine weather does not make for good sailors. Those that came had a great night and we hope to be running another event in the near future. Please stay tuned and hope to see you at one.

20.01.2022 The team at Big Sky Mobile Drive In are honoured helping at this years' ANZAC day ceremony at The Entrance, Central Coast NSW. As previous years we will be setting up our large screen and live action camera to allow more people to view the service. Thank you.

20.01.2022 Well the Umina Beach show AKA The Fantastic Mr Fox event, went ahead on Saturday night. We had some trepidations with the weather forecast but the decision was made - lets do it!!! Despite some offshore winds the screen stayed up and the community was in great spirits. It is a really good location, check it out when you are at Umina Beach next time.

18.01.2022 Picture perfect night for movies and outdoor fun at Emerald Hill Community Hall. This was a chance for some of the locals to get together and let off some steam at this free community event. Country hospitality being what it is and you felt a warm and friendly atmosphere was there! Whether you were getting a great feed from the BBQ expertly managed by Greg, to warning yourself by the large fire pit. A great evening and I hope that we can help out again in the future.

17.01.2022 What a great night we had at Gwandalan Public School on Friday night! Weather was perfect, location ideal, great support from the Cathy and the wonderful team at Uniting who managed this event so well and the Gwandalan P&C who manned the canteen. The audience came early, and and took their seats. Everyone seemed to have a good time, and the space infront of the screen was filled with dancers in the pre movie entertainment. Finding Nemo had many of the younger audience spellbound and in a great show of community spirit there was a long round of applause after the movie! Thank you everyone for making it such a perfect night.

15.01.2022 Hi Everyone - sad news, unfortunately due to high winds excepted tomorrow we have had to postpone the Food Fun and Flicks event. Fear not! It will be held NEXT Friday the 12th of October - so please keep this in mind for an end of school holiday fling! Hopefully see you there!

10.01.2022 What a perfect night for a movie! Seriously! Not a puff of wind, clear nights' sky and an astro-turf area to sit down at. Not to mention the goods on offer - nacho's, hot dogs, cupcakes AND show bags. Great effort from the team at The Entrance Public School I'm sure the movie went down well. Thank you every who attended what has turned out to be our penultimate event.

08.01.2022 2018 is almost done and dusted. Its been a great year for us and we have been all around the state - Coonabarabran helping Westpac fundraising, to drought aid in Emerald Hill onto Nowra for a retirement village show. We participated in the 2018 ANZAC day and helped fund raise for a pre-school in Gunnedah. All the while the year has thrown us some curly weather conditions which led to the need to cancel and reschedule our Food, Fun and Flicks event. Cannot complain its been a great ride! Hopefully the weather will be kinder (and more importantly bring some drought relief to the people living on the land). I'd like to wish everyone out there a Happy New Year and a prosperous, healthy year to come!

08.01.2022 Fantastic Mr Fox! Free Community Event Umina Beach Precinct on the 29th of September. Come down for a family friendly event sponsored by the lovely team at the Jasmine Greens Park Kiosk. If we can make this night a success we hope to build on it to give the local community and visitors to the area another outlet to come together and possibly get some different movie nights going!

07.01.2022 And it's goodbye from Big Sky! I've decided to sell up the business for a number of personal reasons. I'd like to say thank you to all who followed us over the years. As well, I'd like to thank all who used us at their events, we had a great time and learnt a lot of new skills. Our joint ventures such as Food, Fun and Flicks in conjunction with Harrington Entertainment and Foodfest gave me some perspectives into event management that I won't forget. Thanks again everyone. ... Also a quick thank you to my family without whom I would not have had the support to set up the screens! Paul, James, Dwaine, Daniel, Claire, Tracey and ring in's like Tony, Peter, Ian and others a big thank you too! And to Gwen, my wife, - thanks for all your support in this venture. (BTW if you are interested in buying Big Sky drop us a line!)

07.01.2022 Upcoming Kearsley Public School Christmas Movie - Home Alone 2. Last year we did Home Alone and it was a hoot the audience both young and old had such a good time with lots of laugh out lout moments that they wanted the second installment this year. Hoping for some settled weather!

05.01.2022 Finally! A break in the weather The community event at the Pelican RSL went ahead and what a night it was. Plenty to do with jumping castles and slides, facepainting as well as a range of different food trucks to sample from. We rounded out the night with the movie Arthur Christmas. I think all who came had a great time.
