18.01.2022 Talking gutter/valley covers. A customers house had a leak coming through the ceiling inside. A brief look at the roof I quickly found the cause for the leak. The gutter and valley covers where actually trapping dirt and leaves and as the leaves lay trapped in the gutters and valleys they begin breaking down when mixed with water, this then turns into a thick soil and then causing blockages. These blockages stop water from freely flowing down into the down pipes, so the wat...er has puddled up and flowed underneath the tin and into the ceiling cavity of the house. I removed the valley covers to stop any future problems. The best prevention for leaves and dirt clogging up your gutter and valleys is classic roof cleaning when needed. 16.01.2022 So excited to have finished this project, I can finally show some photos of this recently completed project. It’s a deck built in a big ole tree with a flying fox (The inner kid just screams happy). I have been doing this one in between other jobs, and it’s the ultimate Christmas present for the customers kids, and yes it is rated for adult use also. This job was so much fun and I’ll be back at the job soon to get some better photos. The most custom job I’ve done so far and I hope I can do more in the future. And for anyone wondering, there is no building code for tree houses/platforms. It sits 2.6m off the ground so the balustrade keeps the council happy and the kids safe.

16.01.2022 Big days on this job and big rewards. Completed this full internal re paint including an interior concrete floor that came up great as part of renovations. This house will look great when new floors go down. Concrete painting is a cost effective way of rejuvenating either bare or previously painted concrete, driveway, garage, patio or walkway. (Sorry, I didn’t get before photos but it had been trashed and had green window and door frames, so it’s a massive improvement)

03.01.2022 A roof restoration starts with a thorough clean... It’s amazing how easy the old coating comes off with 3000psi after 20 yrs. This usually only happens on very old coatings and is necessary to remove any loose material so the new sealer has max adhesion. But as you can see, the tin underneath is very stable and does not need to be replaced. At a fraction of the price of a new roof you can choose any colour to put over the bare tin. And along with painting or replacing whirly birds and replacing any screws ect, you get the look of a new roof and added value and street appeal to your property.
