25.01.2022 Seemed quiet today but a couple of good news stories emerged on the tuna front. Brett, Baldy and the kids managed a few fish on the cube east of the Island in 5...00ftm. The bigger fish ate a deep bait (Slimy). ‘Hook Up’ added you their tally on the surface with a fish that ate a stickbait near the northern sea mount. Great work all! Weather looks Ok for tomorrow. 20.01.2022 ‘Tassie Devil’ caught Bluefin at 36’20S and 150’36E, well done crew.

18.01.2022 Most boats got a few Albacore whilst not many Yellowfin were caught. Water looked good, boats marking fish & bait but slow for many. There were fish busting up ...down at 36’36 out at 150’33 a few times today, moving pretty quick. A local long liner got a heap of Bluefin today at 36’06S 150’45E which is good news. See more

11.01.2022 Keep an eye on your boat trailers. A couple of customers have had their trailer hitch messed with again today. One customer had his trailer come off the hitch i...n his driveway. Purchasing a cheap padlock purchase is worthwhile. Had reports this morning of good numbers of Yellowfin of 20-40kg busting up regularly in 500fm in between the Bait Hole and the Kink. See more

10.01.2022 Nice fish Wazza

05.01.2022 Billcollector handling huge swells Bermagui entrance. Seas are making a 41ft boat look small . Thanks for the photo George

05.01.2022 Greg and crew on ‘Uncle Buck’ landed a couple of Bluefin. Got one from a triple and then another fish shortly after. Well done lads!

04.01.2022 We took the gamble and went out to Montague Island this morning, despite the fact that there was no current. Fortunately it paid off going to the Island, with ...very average reports coming from the Tuross reefs. Sherrie and Mark from Albury, as well as Emma and Evan from Canberra, had a nice session with plenty of snapper and morwong on the Eastern side of the Island in perfect weather. I am reasonable at cleaning fish, but this table full took me quite a while - but no spikes or cut fingers, so I have to be happy. Will be glad when I can take out enough customers that I can employ a deckhand again.

04.01.2022 Good to see numbers appearing with the Blues just around the corner

03.01.2022 Bermagui is running hot

02.01.2022 If you're road tripping to the Sapphire Coast for the long weekend, don't forget to stop in at our oyster "farm gates" and our cellar doors to sample the best i...n local produce. Tathra Oysters will be open, as will Broadwater Oysters - Pambula Lake, NSW, at Pambula, Wheelers Restaurant at Merimbula and you can buy beautiful Wapengo Rocks oysters from Bermi Bait & Tackle. Don't forget our local brews... Breakfast Creek Vineyard has their inaugural cellar door opening this weekend, find them at Coolagolite just outside Bermagui. And, Longstocking Brewery at Pambula and Camel Rock Brewery Bar & Grill at Bermi are both open this weekend too - if you want to sit in, you'll need to call first. Cheers!
