24.01.2022 We had such a busy day today at home school. I have really been enjoying this time with the kids and it’s amazing how much I’ve learnt about what Billy is capable of doing (because I’m a big softy that does everything for him) now I know I’ve been pushing him and can see his progress!
23.01.2022 We have done some fun activities for home school so far this week! We made rock candy (well attempted it lol), we made a cubby house, did some gardening and of course the standard literacy and maths work!

21.01.2022 Today was a good day at homeschool and a reminder! Some days are good some are bad but when we have good days it reminds us that sometimes we need the bad days to really appreciate the good days Today we worked on literacy, maths (addition), sport, life skills, cooking and some reading!
19.01.2022 We start our home school mornings with a mini fitness course to get his brain fired up for the day!
18.01.2022 Home schooling maths/life skills! Billy needs to count out the required ingredients and then must take one sandwich to make it 4 pieces when it’s ready! We aren’t perfect by far with home schooling as it is a massive change for my boy but we are getting through tasks in small increments and having lots of iPad breaks to make the transition as easy as possible for him.
17.01.2022 Our spelling session. I’m sharing these videos in case anyone is struggling for ideas or looking at how you can keep your child motivated. I am giving Billy lots of iPad breaks (after each activity) to keep him motivated. If I don’t do it this way, it would be a disaster feel free to share to others who may need help or to message me to ask any questions. ... Hope everyone is coping ok with all these changes

14.01.2022 Today for home school I got Billy doing some domestic duties, and we also did a scavenger hunt. He is showing off what we found in the pic lol
13.01.2022 I’m so worried about sending my kids back to school (apparently I may not have a choice soon). I just think more info is needed about how this virus affects children, and how they spread it etc, to have the confidence to make a decision. I mean a study of children was done but was done when 95% of kids were learning at home. In addition to that, they only analysed 18 people and following on from that only tested one third of close contacts. The report also included the para...graph in this photo which makes me even more hesitant! Can the government really say our schools are safe based on such a vague report?
11.01.2022 Today I feel sad, home school has come to an end! I am so grateful though as I know so many parents found keeping their child at home a challenge. So to all of you who have already sent your children back to school I say, YOU ROCK, because it isn’t easy to send them back after having them home. The change in routine, the anxiety we may feel and losing that control to keep them safe is really hard. Everyone has done so well! ... I hope my kids have a great day, I know they will be happy seeing people other than me lol but I really miss you guys already
11.01.2022 Practicing buttons for fine motor skills. Anyone else have children who just can’t get the button through the hole? Billy gets so frustrated and I’m sure it’s more about the fact I am making him practice this at home
10.01.2022 Home school didn’t go as well today because Billyboy was up partying last night so we only got a couple of hrs sleep. But to his credit we got sport, literacy, maths and some life skills done before he had enough and hid from me under my doona oh well there is always tomorrow!

08.01.2022 Fitness on a rainy day happens under cover! He wasn’t in the best mood today so many of our activities had some small protesting but we can only do the best we can.
07.01.2022 Tonight Billy had chicken Schnitzel (was really homemade fish fingers) and potato chips (was really sweet potato chips) and he ate everything off his plate! He will never know I tricked him and now I’ve done it, I’ll be getting creative with some more food tricks!
