23.01.2022 He kicked off the sale in style... the ever-cool Bimbadeen Quatermain. Great auctioneering by Brian Wedemeyer, working the sidelines and online bidding was Chris Norris of Elite Livestock Auctions and Brad McInally of Monto Cattle & Country Pty Ltd. He was purchased by Ross Milner and family. Quatermain was sent off on the first leg of his journey to his great new home yesterday...

22.01.2022 Bringing this lovely ‘pair’ home with us from the 2020 Rockhampton Brangus Sale. Meet new Bimbadeen sire, Stockyard P26 (P)(AI)(ET). Perfect underline, strong head, with low birthweight & good yield EBVs. He carries homozygous poll and black coat genes, and also has a beautiful temperament. We also picked up a gorgeous young heifer - Jardine Ms Dorris Brinks (P). She has great softness, depth and skin, with a terrific feminine polled head and lovely nature.... 21.01.2022 Black on green. Red on green. Babies bovines on green... we really are enjoying these perfect 'colour combos'. An afternoon's worth of breeder paddock inspection photos - I think we are savouring that fresh green pic almost as much as the cows!

13.01.2022 He's made it - to HEAVEN by the looks! Our furthest travelled bull from the 2020 Bimbadeen Brangus Sale, Bimbadeen Quango, has arrived at his new home in Victoria at 'Kimberley Downs Brangus' after a 2000km trip! Can you BELIEVE this grass? Quango looks pretty content with his outlook (and the ladies!). The Davis family have been valued repeat buyers for Bimbadeen over many years - Bimbadeen Nebula is also currently at work at Kimberley Downs (photo in comments).

13.01.2022 A lovely write-up on the 2020 Bimbadeen Brangus Sale by the 'Today' group. We are very proud of the line of bulls presented this year, were delighted with support from buyers and underbidders - and very much appreciate this great coverage. We will definitely be back, bigger and better in 2021. Almost all bulls are delivered to their new homes now and we really look forward to seeing their progeny on the ground in 12 months time. 09.01.2022 Bimbadeen Q LITCHFIELD L12 (P)(AI)(ET) couldn't WAIT to get working with the lovely cows in 'his' paddock (the same one he was actually born in!). Sire of the 2019 Bimbadeen Brangus Sale top-priced bull, Bimbadeen Preacher, Litchfield is a super-easydoing bull (seriously, we need to put him on a diet before he goes out to work) with a great nature, homozygous poll and black coat. His pedigree shows almost 100% Brinks bloodlines and we run him with our 3/8-5/8 cows.

09.01.2022 Our generous sale attendees helped raise over $300 in donations (in leiu of payment for food at our canteen) which will be forwarded to Dolly’s Dream. A special thanks to the two anonymous contributors who popped $50 notes into our tin!!!

07.01.2022 Congratulations to the 2020 Burnham Youth Award recipient Hayden Hanson. Representing the Burnham family, Amanda presented Hayden with his award during the Australian Brangus Cattle Association Rockhampton Brangus Society Sale last week. Hayden gave a wonderful, detailed presentation of his application to ABCA members - a great indication of the energy and enthusiasm, especially amongst our younger members, in the Brangus breed at the moment. 04.01.2022 How seriously cute is this series of photos taken on Sale Day? Aspiring young cattleman Bill Pedley, 10, and Bimbadeen Quartz (ET) got acquainted. Quartz went on to be equal top-priced lot at the 2020 Bimbadeen Brangus Sale. According to Dad Joseph, Bill reckoned he was worth every cent of the $15,000 he made! (We think he was a bit of a steal ;-) ) Quartz is heading to Augathella to join the breeding program of the Radel family. (Photos by Rebecca Burnham)

02.01.2022 Amongst our deliveries yesterday on the coastal run were valued repeat buyers Rob and Sarah Cook. The couple (Rosa Cattle Co) run a quality Brangus herd, founded on Bimbadeen heifers when they moved to the area and were our first top-price buyers at the inaugural Bimbadeen stand-alone sale four years ago. This year Rob and Sarah picked up a run of three outstanding young sires: (L to R) lot 17 Bimbadeen Quirindi, Lot 9 Bimbadeen Quinella and lot 20 Bimbadeen Quadrant. We look forward to seeing their progeny in 2021.
