24.01.2022 If you would like to ensure your favorite lamb cuts at this weekends Pomona Country Markets just let me know and I will put them aside for you to collect on Saturday, any orders not collected by 10.30 will be sold unless previously paid for or by prior arrangement. Don't forget we also sell lamb by the side.

22.01.2022 Busy morning today, lots of stallholders already set up Pomona Country Markets. Lamb, beef, Angie's delights, lots of fruit and vegetables seedlings, chooks, mushrooms plants and lots of other goodies.

22.01.2022 Another 13mm at the house in a storm yesterday when we were out picking up some hay for feeding the sheep. Forgot to shut the bedroom windows so was expecting an indoor pool when we got home.. Very grateful the rain came from the North and that window was only open a couple of inches. Very grateful for the rain, we are now trying to figure out what to plant where to make the most of the precious rain!

06.01.2022 Ubber ride for the bottle fed lambs heading out to join the ewes and other lambs. They will be weaned over the next week as they get accustomed to being with the flock.

05.01.2022 At Warwick this morning selling some lambs. Reducing the number of mouths to feed as the "wet spring" has forgotten to visit us, so far. The Boss get the irrigators going again tomorrow, which will make life interesting especially with his right shoulder still not 100% and now he has managed to cut his left hand across his knuckles missing all his tendons etc. (Whew!!)

05.01.2022 Busy week this week.. a trip to Bundaberg to get some feed, a trip to Bell to the slaughter house followed today by a trip to Warwick to sell some young ewes to reduce the number of mouths to feed here... we have been lambing now for a month or so and the lamb population has exploded ! We decided to move the ewes and lambs across the road on to the barley we have mowed and baled. The photo is of some ewes trying to convince the boss that they have left their lambs over the road in their rush to ensure the best blade of grass...

03.01.2022 As Lindsay was busy in the tractor I thought I would check out the Mung beans he planted on the 16th. I found green sticky up bits in the paddock you will need to zoom in!
