24.01.2022 Congratulations to the Gwydir XI, the 2019/20 champions of the MA Connolly Cup. Undefeated for the year and the first title they have taken since the inception of the team in 2013. Thanks goes out to everyone who has been a part of the team and given up their time to help out. 15.01.2022 Cricket is kicking off today with Round 7 scheduled. Due to the rain the Sportsmans v Warialda game has been washed out. I haven't yet heard about the following games: Gully v Horton Gravesend v Barraba If anyone knows if these are also washed out or going ahead, please comment below.

14.01.2022 Round 2 kicks off tomorrow at 1.30pm. The matches are: Gully v Gravesend Barraba v Bingara Horton v Warialda... Last weeks results were: Warialda 5/181 def by Gully 2/194 Barraba 40 def by Horton 0/41 Gravesend def Bingara (forfeit) Remember scores need to be submitted to MyCricket each week and is the responsibility of each team to put them in.

14.01.2022 Get down to the oval this Sunday morning. This is a great warm up for the junior cricket 6 week program that is starting in February.

11.01.2022 Our representative team has added one for the trophy cabinet and now it is time to see which BDCA team will add one to theirs. This Saturday kicks off the finals for the remaining four teams. First off is a congratulations to Gravesend for taking out the 2019/20 minor premiership with an undefeated run into the finals. The games are as follows: Game one is Gravesend and the Sportsmans competing for the chance to go straight through and host the grand final. The game will ...be at Gravesend. Game two is at Nicholson Oval and is a knockout between Warialda and Gully with the winner advancing to week 2 of the finals and playing the loser of game one. Games start at 1.30pm. 10.01.2022 This Sunday the Gwydir XI take on Moree in the MA Connolly Cup Grand Final. After a wash out last weekend, Gwydir and Moree went straight through to the grand final. Gwydir finished top of the table across both divisions and as a reward to their success they have secured a home game at Gwydir Oval in Bingara. 10.01.2022 After last weekends game, Gravesend have booked a home grand final. Today the Sportsmans and the Gully are playing for the other spot against Gravesend. The game starts at 1.30pm at the Gwydir Oval. See you there.

05.01.2022 The Bingara District Cricket Association AGM is to be held on the 30th of August at 1.30pm at the Bingara Sporting Club. It will be followed by a committee meeting straight after. It would be great if at least one representative from each team could make an appearance. If you have any questions, contact Luke Smith. Hope to see you there.

04.01.2022 Tomorrow the 20/21 season kicks off. Games start at 1.30pm. This year the draw is a little different. There will be 3 rounds against each team, making 15 regular season rounds for the year. The first two rounds are 35 over games and the third round is T20. This is due to the heat during January/February and to get more games in this year. The finals will still be 35 overs. This weeks games are: Warialda v Gully Barraba v Horton... Gravesend v Bingara Remember to put your scores in after the game, or try live scoring with the Live Score app. It is recommended that each team put in their team lists at the start of the game so scoring is easier afterwards.
