02.01.2022 WOW! Is all I can say when it comes to the new Maranatha Gunyah inter-generational learning centre that’s almost finished in Wellington! I dropped in there yest...erday to say g’day to Terry, Dixie, Debra, Matt, Peter and the team and to check out how construction is going. It’s looking fantastic! This Australia-first, inter-generational facility will see littlies at childcare interacting with the residents at the adjacent Maranatha House Aged Care Facility in time, which will no doubt bring much joy to both age groups. And the design is state-of-the-art! I’m proud that the Australian Government has contributed $1.5 million under the Building Better Regions Fund to assist with this ground-breaking project. You’ll be able to see it for yourself at an open day scheduled for October. This is Wellington leading the world! #andrewgee #calarecommunities
