10.01.2022 Cosentino Property Group are a reputable property developer in Melbourne's South Eastern suburbs and came to BINQ for some specific advice on how what types of windows could help them achieve a minimum of 7.5 stars on their future projects. BINQ consulted with @ecoresults to prepare an energy rating report on one of their live projects, which was a two luxury residence development in Berwick, which had already achieved an overall energy rating of 6.2 stars on dwelling one a...nd 6.4 stars on dwelling two. In working with @ecoresults, BINQ supplied them with the energy reports for three systems from the Archetto series including the IV68 Hinged Door, Tilt & Turn Window and Lift & Slide Door, with uValues of 1.6, 1.4 and 1.6 respectively, and asked them to run a simulation on what the overall energy rating would be using these systems, whilst maintaining all of the other building materials. Residence one went from an energy rating of 6.2 to 7.4 and residence two went from an energy rating of 6.4 to 7.7. Suffice to say that an increase of 1.3 stars by simply changing to high performing windows is an incredible result. 05.01.2022 Not long ago we sent our Tilt & Turn Window in for updated AS2047 testing and the results we achieved couldn't have been better. An overall N6 rating, it quite easily sustained 600Pa for water penetration, 2,500Pa for serviceability and 4,500Pa for ultimate. The AS207 results, together with our energy ratings of a uValue of 1.1 and SHGC of .258 make the Tilt & Turn window the best performing window that is manufactured in Australia....
