25.01.2022 Found someone to help me in the garden today whilst Michael was off at school on a public holiday, Aurora sewing in the house and Josh partying with friends in Hobart. Sir Esmeralda (my fury garden gnome) was wonderful company eating the flower heads of the plantain, not talking to much and providing entertaining frolics. Apricots galore and zucchini’s of all shapes colours and sizes. #rabbits #bunnys #gardening #growyourown #organic #Biodynamic

23.01.2022 My favourite Packham pears first bottling with More to come. Its a challenge between our family and the parrots and there being enough for all. The crop is shared between our family, our resident padymelons and the local mountain parrots. Blessed with such abundance to be able to share and keep our little friends fed too.

21.01.2022 We are looking for an honest, reliable person who loves animals to care for Maktub Biodynamic Farm whilst we are in Melbourne for Christmas. The gardens will need watering and tending to. Sir Esmeralda (rabbit), Raucous and Petal (Cockatiels) and the chooks will need feeding and water, the wild birds, lizards, snakes and assorted wildlife will need fresh water too. There will be an abundance of veggies, herbs and berries to feast on. Please message me if interested. Likely dates will be 23 28 December.

12.01.2022 Aurora Materia has produced this short film of her latest artistic creation during her COVID 19 quarantine. Delicious picnic on the banks of the river and gentle contemplative walk along the river in its spring glory and the bonus of finding a wonderful old homeopathic book. Beautiful light on the Woodbridge Hill and the chooks enjoying a late afternoon scratch under the wisteria in full bloom. I love the lavender Araucana matching the wisteria.

07.01.2022 What do you do with lovely home grown lemons??? Limoncello of course using Tractor Materias recipe. Trators LImoncello is the best in the world.
