15.01.2022 We are pleased to advise that after careful negotiation, Emmanuel Uniting church has relaxed its ban on our neighborhood house cooking meals for our emergency food relief program, after acknowledging that we have been exempt from restrictions all along... Birallee can now continue assisting with Foodshares bushfire and Covid relief efforts. We therefore advise that those rostered for Wednesday and Thursday this week, should contact Amanda for information on recommencing work. Thank you for your patience whilst management sorted this matter.

13.01.2022 Unfortunately we have been directed to cease our emergency food relief program this week, by the Emmanuel Uniting Church. We therefore wish to advise all volunteers and recipients of our food packs that we will not be able to cook and enable distribution to foodshare of any frozen meals after today until such time as we can resolve this upsetting dilemma. We are extremely disappointed for those in need of our food program, but the matter is beyond our control currently, and is being directed by the Church.
