16.01.2022 Hello my loves! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year! Sorry I’ve been a little MIA! Things got a little busy over the holiday period. But I’m back now! I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all the beautiful families I’ve had the privilege of working with this year (2020). 14.01.2022 One of my favourite photos from the first Ever C section I attended. I’m feeling so nostalgic today! Things have been crazy hectic at home, with the weather, work, school holidays, 4 kiddos under 6, the bubba who’s cutting teeth and barely sleeps. Iv done two births in the past couple weeks and I’m currently on call for another beautiful mama. You need to lie on the bed to push If you haven’t given birth by 40 weeks we will need to speed things along... NEWSFLASH! There are no rules when it comes to birth and it is NOT their decision how/where/when a birthing person has their baby. You are not alone mamas! You need to know you have choices, that your voice and your feelings and your decisions matter! HAVE your baby where you feel safest, BIRTH your baby the way you want to , refuse (or accept) that induction if that’s what your instinct is telling you to do. Deep down you know what you need to do, don’t let anyone take away from your experience. 05.01.2022 Every now and then I attend a birth that rocks me to my core. That takes me to a different dimension, that gives me a new found respect for the women ,the mothers and the grandmothers of our world. It lights up my soul and makes me feel things I never thought possible. To walk along side such a powerful woman as she travels through mystical realms to welcome her baby earth side is honestly such a privilege and definitely not something I take lightly. If you’ve been followi...ng my page for a little while you’ll have seen me talk about this mama. How she put in soooo much work during her pregnancy to build her mindset, education and birth team. How she prepped and planned for her big day with such determination. How she was patient and collected right to the end. It all paid off! This goddess was phenomenal on her birthing day, she welcomed her beautiful daughter earth side at home, 2 weeks past her due date, with her birth team, husband and daughter by her side every step of the way. Never have I felt such love and connection at a birth before. It was absolutely beautiful to witness. Thank you so much for taking me on this journey with you lovely.
