06.01.2022 A sad sight. For years this dam received treated water from the Boyne and then the Tannum Treatment Plants. It was then pumped onto the golf course through the irrigation system and kept the course in great condition. Also it provided a wonderful sanctuary for all sorts of birdlife; on occasion we had visits from pelicans among others. No more.
