08.01.2022 We celebrated the opening of the RWK Bunbury office on Tuesday night and revealed the Troika Room. Here is some of Director, Gemma Denton's speech. "The idea fo...r this Bunbury office and for the lady (Troika) on our wall comes from my heart and soul and my underlying belief that even as accountants we can be inspiring, exciting and change lives. It feels like such a long road to get here but the concept for this particular space was actually born from a conference in April in QLD. A lady called Penny Power spoke of this Business Café blog they had where business come together to support each other, share ideas, frustrations and just collaborate. And I thought then how cool would that be if it was a real life space! So I came home talking about this idea and I could visualise what it looked like then with funky couches and a huge graffiti wall." "Troika itself put simply stands for 3 people working together. Thanks to two incredibly talented ladies Kerry James from GVD and Sara Bowles from RWK, I have no doubt we would not be here today without the effort you have put in. Kerry has been here almost every day. I think she knows every trady, she has picked paint colour and skirting and light fittings and decided on furniture and carpet. She just makes things happen and in her gorgeous little style seems to be able to persuade anyone to do what she wants! And Sasa who has been with me since we opened Dardy (back then sporting purple dreads) has been here alongside putting furniture together, co-ordinating this and helping keep me grounded as she does."
