Now there is also, Holly, Mistletoe & Rose to join the family of fairies. Poinsettia is the oldest member of the family having been designed over 3 years ago. if you are interested in taking part in an all day event, please contact me on 5622-1655

19.01.2022 I have completed my first project that is designed and executed by me. I am very good a following a pattern, but have never taken the step to design. I also wrote up the pattern as I went along. It will be interesting to see what happens next.

15.01.2022 The day has been busy ( no pun intended ) , and the new mini Bizzy Bees now looks more like it should instead of just boxes and bags of stock. As of Monday I am officially open ( it hasn't stopped anyone from dropping in , which has been lovely). I will be operating regular ( and I use the term somewhat loosely) hours 9ish - 5ish, Mon-Fri, sat 9ish-1ish. look forward to seeing you ANITA

13.01.2022 Hi Sammie Zillman! Nice to meet you. Feel free to contact me any time. I have just finished a lovely scarf made out of Patons Bohemia, a new yarn for this winter season. Now to finish an UFO to keep my husband happy. I counted up my UFO's with a customer yesterday and stopped once I got to ten. Some of my projects have been sitting idle for over 10 years. They seemed like a good idea at the time!!! :)

12.01.2022 FELTING WORKSHOP POSTPONED.!!!!! Unfortunately we have had to postpone our felting day, as the date chosen didn't suit many people. SO........let's pick another date. So that the date suits more of you, please contact me by FB msg, email [email protected] , phone 5622 1655 or come in, if you are interested and what date would suit you. Remember that Easter is at the end of March if you are interested in making a bilby...... ... We would be extending it to being a choice of the crazy doll, as per the photo sent in your last email from Bizzy Bees, a felted bilby in time for Easter or a game of noughts and crosses, making the board and the sheep that make the noughts and crosses. The cost would remain the same for the day. I hope that one of these projects will be of interest to you. You will learn a new technique that you can do to make stand alone felt items or you make embellishments to incorporate in your other projects - knitting, crochet, quilting, needlework, making up of broaches, clothes and lots lots more. Contact me and let's talk about what you would liketo do. Happy Crafting!!

12.01.2022 Bizzy Bees is now officially not operating out of shop 7, 36-40 Mason Street. The shop is looking quite bare and today I am gathering all my personal stuff to bring home. where I will put it is another puzzle. Looking forward to coffee under the birch tree.

05.01.2022 It's been a while since I've put an update on FB. It's been an interesting Summer, with hot days, steamy nights and at times no mojo to craft. I have been designing a crochet rug, with the design influenced by the textiles of Central Asia ( Annie of ak traditions is the influencer here) and I am sketching out an embroidery of the buildings of Port Arthur. Knitting is still off the cards as my tendinitis is still playing up. I have nearly finished a Brenda Ryan embroidery u...sing cottage Garden Threads. In the tradition of crafters across the world, the more projects are better. :) Happy Crafting.

04.01.2022 Bizzy Bees welcomes Judy, Tracey and Krystal to the hive. Happy crafting and please drop in or call if you have any craft questions.
