10.01.2022 **Note from Admin** - Please note that this page is run by VOLUNTEER YOUTH and COMMUNITY PRESENTERS. This means we raise awareness on topics such as suicide prevention, depression and mood disorders on behalf of Black Dog Institute. Our presenters have first hand experience with mental illness themselves or are carers of a first degree relative. Meaning we are just people recovering from our own demons and struggles. For this reason anyone that is rude, offensive or personal...ly attacks somebody or their experiences, will be banned from this page permanently. This page was set up originally by volunteers for volunteers so we could share information and provide support for each other but has grown to include the greater community.

01.01.2022 Hi All, Thank you for liking this page and your interest in the Black Dog Institute!! This page was originally set up for our volunteer presenters based in Melbourne, and now, with the amazing growth of our volunteer community across Australia we have made the decision to connect and support them all via our wider volunteer network.... Given this, we have made the decision to delete this page but encourage you all to stay up to date with Black Dog Institute news by following our page here: https://www.facebook.com/blackdoginst If you are interested in becoming a volunteer that is awesome!! Were currently not taking any new volunteers at the moment but fill out the form on our website and we will keep you posted when new opportunities come up https://www.blackdoginstitute.org.au/get-involved/volunteer/ If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, contact the following crisis services: Emergency 000 Lifeline 13 11 14 Kids Helpline 1800 55 1800 MensLine 1300 78 99 78 Suicide Call Back Service 1300 659 467 Stay safe
