23.01.2022 Have a listen to our very own Dr Michelle Redford explaining the next stage of the COVID Vaccine rollout - Phase 1b, how to know if you are eligible in this stage and what to expect in the video below.

23.01.2022 One way to slow the spread of viruses, such as coronavirus, is physical distancing. The more space between you and others, the harder it is for the virus to spread. It is important everyone continues to stay 1.5 metres away from others, wherever possible.... If you are unwell, please get tested at a COVID-19 clinic https://www.health.nsw.gov.au/Infectio//Pages/clinics.aspx

22.01.2022 The Surgery will be closed between the hours of 5.30pm to 8pm on Wednesday 16/12/2020 and will reopen on Thursday 17/12/2020 at 8.30am. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

20.01.2022 In addition to washing your hands more often, it's important to make sure you're washing them thoroughly every time to help stop the spread of COVID-19 in our community. Check out this diagram below from Hunter New England Health on the correct hand washing technique.

20.01.2022 With the recent developments in NSW, we are now operating under an Amber Alert level. This means that anyone entering the surgery will be required to wear a face mask on entry, unless under 12 years of age. 19.01.2022 PUBLIC HEALTH ALERT UPDATE Wallsend Diggers, Hotel Jesmond and Lambton Park Hotel Since our previous update last night, there is now further information about... the venues attended by the visitor in his 20s from Sydney. Anyone who attended these venues may be at risk of infection and you must strictly isolate at home for 14 days from those dates and be tested for COVID-19. - Hotel Jesmond on 29 July between 7pm and 9pm - Wallsend Diggers on 29 AND 30 July between 9pm and 11pm - He also attended Lambton Park Hotel on 30 July between 8pm until 9pm. If you attended these venues after these times, you are at lower risk so you do not need to isolate, however, please look out for symptoms and get tested immediately if you develop any, even if mild. These venues have now been thoroughly cleaned and so there is no ongoing risk. Yesterday NSW Health announced the second Sydney visitor who attended Toronto Court House on 27 July, between 7am and 2pm. The visitor stayed at a private residence and all of his close contacts have been identified and are in isolation, so there is no ongoing risk to the community. As a precaution, anyone who attended the Toronto Court House at those times should be alert for any symptoms and should even the mildest symptoms develop, they must self-isolate and seek urgent testing for COVID-19.
