Take a watch and give it a SHARE if you think you know others that could get involved. #BetterHabitatBetterFishing

This was dads first metrey and it was very unexpected... and i captured it all on GoPro. Video ended up getting 35K views over the next couple of days and he was on the front page of 2 local newspapers. 09.01.2022 HAPPY FATHERS DAY FROM HUGH "Heres a yarn for ya. I took my old man and father-in-law out fishing a year or two ago. Dad hadnt been fishing for lets say the best part of 15-20 years. While were soaking a few baits and having a beer or two he says you know what Hugh, I dont think Ive ever caught a Murray Cod. I was completely baffled. On this day, he snagged a heap of carp and I managed to sneak a 93.5cm cod into the mix before he finally managed to catch this one... His next statement was geez, I regret not taking you kids out fishing more! #HappyFathersDay2020

04.01.2022 The upper catchment of the far-famed Tuckean Swamp got a little nip and tuck recently with some pretty major regeneration work at Boggy Creek. Invasive weeds outcompeted our native plants but locals are now hoping the 3000, (yes that is not a typo) natives planted with the help of our fantastic landholder partners will bring back the stunning natural creek ecology and provide food for our Aussie Bass. This project is supported by NSW DPI Fisheries Recreational Fishing Trust, Landcare NSW, Tregeagle Landcare, Lismore City Council Cand BCF - Boating, Camping, Fishing. https://ozfish.org.au//fish-habitat-action-on-boggy-creek/

04.01.2022 HAPPY FATHERS DAY FROM HARRY "This is my Dad Allan and this was our last fishing trip together in 2017 before he got sick. We did a trip to Lake Monduran so he could get his first barramundi. Get Barra we did, I spent almost every weekend when I was young with my dad catching Bream, Tailor, Flathead and Whiting he loved it. I sure do miss him he taught me as his father taught him to fish. Before he passed he use to always have a dig at me because I kiss them and put them back lol." #happyfathersday2020

01.01.2022 SEASON CLOSED FOR MURRAY COD The Murray Cod season has come to a close as at today to ensure natural recruitment and to protect this important species during its breeding season. Blowering Dam in Southern NSW and Copeton Dam in northern NSW will remain open for during this period because there is very little natural fish recruitment of Murray Cod in these areas. These waterways rely on stocked fish to sustain the fishery.... Lets send off the season with our best cod pictures. #murraycod #freshwaterfishing

01.01.2022 HAPPY FATHERS DAY FROM GREG "This pic sits on our bookshelf and Im very proud of it. I often think fishing teachers you more about being a good man and its a great way to really connect with your children. They go away learning about patience and timing, and about giving more of yourself to the world" #HappyFathersDay2020
