It’s the best view and house in the neighbourhood! we were greeted by kangaroos, deers, and other wildlife everyday, also the neighbour’s friendly dog :), the house is absolutely amazing and super clean, equipped with a full range of cooking utensils... wish to stay here again next time, 2 nights are surely not enough. Thanks Jess and Chris for your kind hospitality before and throughout our stay Black Diamond is in high demand this Winter, and it's clear to see why.

Black Diamond is almost fully booked for the next couple of months, only a few dates are still available! Be quick though, these won't last.

14.01.2022 Not trying to brag or anything... but.. OMG! This place was HUGE. It must have taken a lot of effort to keep the place neat and sparkling clean and that is exactly what it was. Kitchen was also well equipped and the location is just perfect. Added plus was waking up to bright colorful parrots, deers and kangaroos. Jessica was also the perfect host, offering great suggestions on dining and getting around. And her response could not be more prompt. Super thumbs up!

13.01.2022 Want somewhere secure to store your bikes whilst staying at Black Diamond? We got you covered. Presenting our new storage area - great for skis and snowboards too! Guests will now also have access to the drying cupboard and laundry area.

13.01.2022 Black Diamond has been fully booked this winter, but we were lucky enough to grab a couple of days to come up here! What a treat. Snowshoeing on Mt Sterling, Snowboarding on a blue bird day and watching the abundance of wildlife out the window. Life is good.

10.01.2022 Here is one of our latest reviews that came in just before the shut down! We love happy guests! 'Jessica’s Place was absolutely perfect for our family of 5. The house is large and spacious, modern, with a fully equipped kitchen with every appliance or amenity you may need. The view from the house is simply beautiful and the wildlife that pop in day and night such as deer, kangaroos and parrots was an absolute highlight of our stay here. The fireplace was just what we needed for the colder winter months, although the house has ample heating. The check in process from the hosts was without fault, and I could not recommend staying at this house enough. It’s the most gorgeous home in Merrijig. We can’t wait to come back again soon!'

The views are amazing, we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony admiring the view, while the kids had a great time spotting the wild deer and kangaroos! Thank you for providing the high chair and baby gate for the stairs. The house is very spacious and had everything we needed."

"Jessica's property was located in such a perfect spot. 360-degree breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and not to mention the beautiful birds, kangaroos and the deers in the neighbourhood were just amazing. 01.01.2022 The Ski Season may be over, but there is still plenty to do and enjoy in this incredible part of the world! Here is another wonderful review we have just received. "We’ve stayed in many holiday rentals in Merrijig but Black Diamond is by far one of the best places we’ve stayed in the area. There is ample room for a big group or multiple families. One thing that sets it apart is the numerous bathrooms. Most rentals will advertise for big groups but will only have 2 bathrooms, which can be rather inconvenient. The outlook is fantastic, the kitchen well stocked with amenities and especially love the stash of toys (which keep the kids plenty occupied) We would definitely be returning! Thanks Jess for a wonderful stay :)"
