25.01.2022 A big shout out to our Blue Mountains Council workers. When people ask me for help, I am not the one who gets out and does it. It is these people.... Here is a crew in Lapstone today, in the rain, cutting grass so that local kids can get to school. It is a big job looking after a city as geographically large as the Blue Mountains. I want our workers at every level to know how grateful I am for what they do and how proud I am of them all. Our community is too.

19.01.2022 Regardless of politics, I have a deep sense of loss of our leader, Gladys, at this intense time in 2021. ( I am a-political, and only vote for my local member who helps my area.) I do, however, grieve for the sudden resignation of one who has lead us successfully through this dark time in our lives. I wish her well, and whatever manipulations are going on in political arenas, NSW is worse for this departure. The uncertainty of this time affects us all.

Dreaming trail of blossoms, softly petalling gently down to kiss violets and clover, covering roots of weeping cherry trees, alive with buzz, buzzing bees busy in the bright noonday sun. Crackerjack blue sky, stark against the pale pink and white, gnarled branches sway in the gentle breezes, blow a pink and white mosaic on the moss-covered feng-shui path that meanders by stone walls that shelter this hidden garden.
