22.01.2022 We often say horses need time to mature. Dreams And Schemes is a great example. As a 3YO, he was: 5-0:0:0. Returning after that break and allowing him to mature and develop, his record is 5-3:1:0. Great for Ross Wilkinson to have a nice, in form horse.

21.01.2022 Pure Exceleration has won his 10th and 11th starts of his campaign. Being able to train with variety like this at Ballarat is a key reason why. He's such a happy, healthy horse and great to have around.

16.01.2022 The colours of Ian Lewis and connections went one better today with Shock Shock winning at Ballarat, following Diaquin’s fast-closing second at Flemington yesterday. Stepping up to a more suitable distance allowed Shock Shock to position nicely in the run under Will Price. It was great to see her knuckle down in the final 200m to score in the Hygain Winners Choice Hcp for connections. Shock Shock is raced on lease from John Thompson and Rich Hill Stud, being a daughter of their resident stallion Shocking and a half-sister to Group-winner Polzeath.

16.01.2022 California Sunset has overcome a few challenges in his career to date. Owner/breeder Ross Wilkinson thoroughly deserved today's win at Horsham. The Super VOBIS bonus was a further reward for Ross' long-term support of Victorian racing. Thanks to Will Price for the well-rated ride leading all the way. Will has been working hard and closely with several stables at Ballarat, including ours, and his career is progressing well. Just like California Sunset.
