22.01.2022 We are delighted to announce that at last night's Sydney Royal Fine Food Show Awards we were awarded Champion Pork Exhibit!! A huge thank you to Australian Pork Limited for their incredible encouragement and support, and to The Sydney Royal for an outstanding evening. Thanks must go to the Black Label Berkshire Team, The Butcher's Block Corrigin, Colin and Joy Lienert and Tony Edwards from ACE Livestock Consulting. A very special thanks too, to all our loyal customers, especially The Boatshed Market for supporting us from the beginning.

21.01.2022 We are very excited that Bungendore Koonibba F66 aka Geoffrey was awarded champion junior Berkshire boar at the 2018 Sydney Royal Easter Show. Thanks to our team for preparing him, Doug Giles from Quiksilver Transport for expertly caring for Geoffrey and delivering him in great order, and to RASNSW Councillors & staff, fellow pig exhibitors & ag school students for caring for Geoffrey at the Easter Show. Special mention with thanks to stud groom Kym Miller. Geoffrey is now he...ading to a breeding centre to produce more prize winning Black Label Berkshire pork! Geoffrey will be shown on Channel 7 Sydney news tonight ahead of the President's Medal awards dinner. The clip will be online Channel 7 Sydney later!



20.01.2022 We are delighted to announce Black Label Berkshire was awarded the following prizes at their inaugural showing at the Royal Adelaide Show- -Best of Breed, Berkshire -Reserve Champion Berkshire Boar -Champion Berkshire Boar -Reserve Junior Champion Boar ... -Junior Champion Boar It has been a true team effort and a long-held dream come true, getting our pigs to the Adelaide Show. A big thank you to Josh and Emma Lay and Jess Appelbee for trucking them across safely from Perth. Thanks to our Piggery Manager Brett Davenport and his staff, and to our Stud Groom, Jess Appelbee for turning the pigs out beautifully on the day. Thank you too, to Errol and Pam Bannister for their support. Thanks to the RAHS and stewards for a really enjoyable and well coordinated event. It was wonderful to see pigs so strongly represented from around the country. Special mention must be made of Colin and Joy Lienert who have provided encouragement and guidance for many years. And we all know good pigs make good pork, and we were delighted to have recently won Champion Ham and Bacon at the Perth Royal Food Awards. A huge thank you to judges Ed Halmagyi and Michael Bullen for their feedback which we have already used to improve many aspects of our business. The awards night was fast paced and entertaining, expertly hosted by Lyndey Milan OAM.... Colin Fassnidge worked his magic with our Black Label Berkshire pork shoulder at the Awards dinner.
