22.01.2022 As were heading away for the weekend I just wanted to share how much I love the blessing of Christ in my life. My son Cohen and I have been through trying times. I was a single Mum for eight of his thirteen years and for most of that time I was unwell with anorexia and chronic fatigue. But the life and the restorative power of Christ has been doing a great work in my life and I wouldnt trade this Christian life for anything. So in this photo we were playing around with some snazzy features on my phone but our joy is for real and seeing it cheers my heart. I hope it cheers yours too. ~Sharon

20.01.2022 Thanks, Robert Ereaux, for this inspiration. We were praying and seeing the vast difference between the size of fruit we can bear in our own ability, versus the ridiculously enormous (by comparison) sized fruit that the Spirit produces in our lives when we surrender to painful pruning. Thank you Jesus, though it might hurt, you are good and wise.

16.01.2022 Christians of Blacktown stand with persecuted brothers and sisters around the world. Let us not close our ears from hearing, or our hearts from caring. Let us heed the call to action, however the Lord would lead us. Let us grow strong in our faith and in willingness to engage in the Lords saving work! There is much to be done and every day is an opportunity. Do we have any Blacktown believers from the Central African Republic?

12.01.2022 We had a really lovely morning visiting Lighthouse Christian Centre, in Glendenning last Sunday. They are a lovely group who are so aware that were all family in Christ. 11.01.2022 All over Blacktown there are precious groups of lovely Christians meeting. This morning we were blessed to be at Doonside Anglican Church. Lovely music and an inspiring word but the best bit is meeting with brothers and sisters who all have a love of the Lord and are a unique testimony to His greatness.

09.01.2022 What a marvelous God we have.
07.01.2022 Do we go to church or are we it? I suppose the answer is obvious. We know that we are the church, the people of God. But how much do we feel like we are all brothers and sisters in one big worldwide church? Does Blacktown have more than 200 churches? Or are we all part of the one church meeting in 200 different places? Im trying to change my language to match what I believe. God has so much love for His people, that I cant help but to grow in love for all of my brothers and... sisters in Christ. I love to visit a church - ooops, there I go again, a church group, rather, that Ive never been to before and to me they already feel like family, even though I probably know nobody there. I know that God knows them. How many brothers and sisters do I have in the Blacktown area that I dont know yet? I sometimes wonder if theres someone living around the corner from me whos a sister that I dont know. Is my neighbour next door a brother, even though he doesnt know yet that hes going to become a Christian later in life? Was it family that I just walked past at the shops? I cant always know. Sometimes in passing, a stranger, usually another lady and I will exchange knowing smiles and Im sure that Ive just met a sister. I reckon in heaven well get to chat and well be glad that we smiled at each other that day. I love to share about these things, because I get excited about the amazing thing that the church is... the worldwide people of God, here on earth with the most important mission. What if we came together as family in our hundreds, with the love, faith & hope of God!? Wouldnt our hopes and dreams multiply with such enthusiasm. Wouldnt our flames be fanned into fires for the glory of our Lord! Lets start to pray for more like-minded believers. ~Rob & Sharon
