18.01.2022 It is with great sadness that I share the news of the passing of James Kirk. James is a Life Member, past President and Registrar as well as a wholehearted supporter of Blacktown City Athletics Club. James had a great leadership style always listening and taking on board what others had to say and then collaboratively determining the best way forward. James was a multi disciplined athlete who strove for the best every time he competed. James was never afraid of giving an... event a go. James holds club records in Shot, Discus, Javelin, 800m, 1500m, 5000m and Field Pentathlon. James was a wonderful person to have around James always had a smile and greatly enjoyed having a chat with other athletes. Our world is a better place because of James Kirk. He will be greatly missed. We send our best wishes to Dianne, Kieran and Brook in this sad time.
