General Stewart Little and a rousing message by Union NSW Secretary General Mark Morey. "The unions have more numbers than political parties combined. Our message is always about our life, our workplace and our opportunities. It is about equality and justice founded on the common good." Associate Professor Jane Andrew spoke on "The Politics of Costs: Why Accounting Matters in Debates About Privatisation." Jane expounded on the book "What Money Can't Buy" penned by Michael Sandel exposing the negative social effects of privatisation. Her graph on the distribution of wealth is very disturbing where the share of net public wealth in net national wealth is in a disconcerting downward slope or for some OECD countries equals zero.
