Bedbugs can live anywhere in the home. They can live in cracks in furniture or in any type of textile, including upholstered furniture. They are most common in beds, including the mattress, box springs, and bed frames. Bedbugs are most active at night. They may bite any exposed areas of skin while an individual is sleeping. 06.01.2022 WHEN SELLING PROPERTIES Just thought I'd share a picture of my latest find and explain why REAL ESTATE agents need to advise hiring a professionally trained termite specialist before listing a property as the "so called professional" that conducted one for the vendor didn't pick up on these few pivotal finds that just cost them having to reduce the price bye over $35,000 just to rectify these few things alone . Firstly- sub-floor ventilation non existent ( must be rectifi...ed) ... Second- some areas in sub-floor pooling water ( not good for the structure as constant expanding and contracting soils can lead to movement in piers or footings which ultimately lead to cracking in the building) .... Third- mould on soil surface ( not good for kids or adults with asthma or can lead to developing asthma) Fourth- have a good look at the photo and tell me whether you can determine whether there are termites in the property from that photo cause I can assure you there are, and the evidence is on that wall. So without gloating I saved my clients $35,000 which was taken off the asking price when it will only cost around $9,000 to rectify the issue of ventilation in the sub-floor whilst eradicating the infestation and installing a termite treatment.
