21.01.2022 Thursday Top Tips for Staying active through the Silly season. It's near impossible at this time of year to not be indulging in food & drink while our normal workout routine gets sidelined too; especially if we are away from home on holidays! Here's my 3 top tips to find ways to get active even when on holidays. ... 1. Keep doing something. It doesn't have to be your usual kick ass weights session or workout. Just aim to do a smaller session. Jump in the hotel pool for some laps? Or check out the hotel gym. 2. Combine sight seeing with getting active. I love getting active in new places when travelling. Especially going for a run. I get to checkout the locality of where I am, feel the vibe of the area & get out amongst it! Walking & running is easy & can be done anywhere you are. 3. Have some holiday workout options ready to take with you. You don't need a lot of space or equipment to get in a workout wherever you are. I have done up 3 mini travel workouts for anyone who would like some options to get keep active on the holidays. Comment below with 'balance' if you want a copy!

So each day they are completing 137 steps which represents the amount of women killed by a family member or their partner every single day. 18.01.2022 Ok I wanted to post an update cause if feels weird for me to just start up again here on Blade without it.. I'm not sure if I have the answers still lol but I can share what I do know. As you know I launched Blade via crowdfunding and it didn't hit the target. I think I was so scared to fail in the first place I couldn't move anyway. I was doing what I thought I should but I am not sure I was listening all the same... ... Fitness, especially exercise is so big for me. Just because of the positive impact it has had on my life and I really want to share that with everyone. At the time though I am not sure I was ready... My fear literally consumed me and honestly just did me over. Since then I have grieved lol and grown. I just left it alone as I wasn't sure what to do. I joined an amazing team at a gym that was truly a gift as these beautiful souls believed in me without hesitation and supported me and allowed me to grow. They gave me confidence with their belief which is what I think was missing.. So thank you gorgeous people, you know who you are. Now I am just ready. To continue no matter what. Just because I fail I am not going to torture myself over and over and let it consume me. Regardless, I love what I do and will always share that passion if it can change peoples lives like it has mine. So Im not hiding anymore. I have some awesome things in the pipeline I can't wait to share with you and hope all of you learn from me and allow yourself to go on no matter what bumps in the road happens. I think age is a beautiful thing that way. You simply stop wasting time on other people's opinions and realize you are important enough to share yourself too & stop comparing. So thank you to everyone who has always supported me. Truly grateful. I look forward to sharing my heart and love of movement. Impact lives whenever I can and remind each and every one of you how awesome you are daily. And hopefully inspiring some of you along the way too. Nat x

15.01.2022 WOW! What a challenge!!! So much to say so just going to go unfiltered and uncut. First - Results. Out of the 15 women who have completed pre n post testing: Kilo's lost - 43kg... Centimetres reduced - 194! So much physical improvements and strength! Full push ups, increased cardiovascular fitness and so much more. Fuck yeah! That is amazing. Like really amazing. Well done to all the kickass ladies who really showed up and just claimed every moment. Kudos to you all. I can't even explain the friendship and bond that has developed between these women. They have not only forged a new way of life but a circle of support that is priceless. Goosebumps. I am blessed to have been the facilitator for these beautiful souls who have been my inspiration fuel as well. I have gained so much from getting to know you all. Thank you for being the amazing women you all are. So I am freakin excited for the next challenge that is coming up in Jan and already have bookings! It's a super simple 30 minutes of alternating booty work with the bands and core work. It's super effective, easy to follow along and can be done in the comfort of own home. 08.01.2022 I have missed my Wednesday Warrior Women posts so great to share this wonderful womens story with you today. I am just going to share what I posted to my Class group page. Mental Health. ... Ok I am just going to write what I am thinking because really I think the best thing any of us can do for mental health right now is to just start talking. ATM I am studying my bachelor of nursing and am doing mental health as a subject. It's really shocked me how we have treated mental health in the past and the stigma still attached as well as the lag in how we respect and treat people with mental health distress. This needs to change. Right now I think everyone's mental health has been challenged. We are living in unprecedented times with this pandemic and everything we know is uncertain. As women, I feel we focus so much on our physicality and improving it, yet not enough on our mental health or how we are feeling. So all I want to do today is share this TED talk from this amazing woman. This is one story. There are many. I myself have experienced mental distress many times throughout my life. It's not a dirty word. We are people. Mental illness is as prevalent as any physical illness. AND like any illness there is recovery, support & life. Post a heart or any emoji if you feel me.
