25.01.2022 Road Safety for Blairgowrie: We have written to as many groups associated within the Blairgowrie community, to ask for support to influence the Hon Ben Carroll MP Minister for Roads and Road Safety to improve the safety along Pt Nepean Road, from Rye through the township of Blairgowrie. Our focus is primary aimed to improve the safety of pedestrians and push bike riders along Pt Nepean Rd. We are specifically asking for: The speed limit between Minnimurra Rd. Rye and H...ughes Rd. Sorrento to be made consistent with the rest of Pt Nepean Rd, which is 60kmh.(By lowering the speed the travel time only increases by 35 seconds) Pedestrian refuges to be established at bus stops and other intersections and, The bike path to be upgraded and better maintained. We ask that you consider providing us in-principle support. We hope to approach the Minister through the local member Hon Chris Brayne in October. 15.01.2022 Spring is in the air Want something to do! Let’s produce some seedlings for Spring planting. Packets of seeds have been put in a new tub(someone took... the first tub) in box against the Pavilion. Members and community can take a packet or two and propagate seeds at home. Once restrictions are over we can have seedlings to plant out in Garden or share about and plant in your own home garden. Give it a go! See more

13.01.2022 We are back at Slips Our first working bee since February Dan and her team have worked hard through Covid keeping the weeds under control. A lovely spot to visit in Blairgowrie. Here you can see what flora thrives in our areaand enjoy the serenity of the Reserve.... We need more volunteers as we are losing Ruth and Murray to Geelong! 03.01.2022 14 th August 2018 We gained approval from Mornington Peninsula Shire to operate our garden at Stringer Road Reserve 2 years ago today! What a wonderful journey it has been. Can’t wait to celebrate with ALL our members!
