19.01.2022 EXCITING NEWS Starting next week we will be slowly returning to the salon.... The way the salon will be running is completely different to what we are all use to but hopefully with the new safety procedures we are implementing the salon will be able to continue providing appointments during these unpredictable times. ... To start with we will be open by appointment only but will slowly work at getting back to our original opening hours. We will be offering drive by product collection and monthly product deliveries for those of you who wish to keep your distance. Just message us to make an appointment We are so looking forward to seeing you all again soon. XO

18.01.2022 7 and a half years ago she walked into the salon as a shy little apprentice, we’ve had the privilege of watching her grow into an amazing hairdresser, loving mother and today we saw her as the most stunning bride. Congratulations Hayley, Alex and little Harry we wish your little family a world of happiness.

17.01.2022 Corona update for our amazing clients At this stage we will be remaining open until we are told otherwise. We are also enforcing strict new guidelines for staff to follow to ensure their safety and the safety of our clients. We ask that clients please come alone to appointments... no friends, partners or children, we will only allowing a small number of people in the salon at a time to minimise as much risk as we can. The safety of our staff and clients is our top priori...ty but we need your help. If you feel any slight illness even if you feel as though it’s just a cold or allergies PLEEEEASE cancel your appointment, we will do all we can to get you a new appointment when you’re feeling better. We don’t want to have to send people away with half done haircuts. If you are visiting the salon please use the hand sanitiser at the front desk upon arrival. We will try to keep things as normal as possible at the salon but unfortunately things aren’t normal at the moment. We all have loved ones who fall under the at risk category and we need to take care of them first and foremost so let’s all just be sensible during this time. How about we look at this as a forced rehab for our hair, if you can’t get a colour appointment grab a treatment and treat your locks to a bit of a break, ease up on the heat styling and get back to your roots....quite literally. Feeling really thankful for balayage at the moment. #haveyouwashedyourhands

12.01.2022 Tomorrow is the start of STEPtember. For the month of September we will be doing 10,000 steps a day and hopefully raising lots of money to help Cerebral Palsy Alliance continue the amazing work they do for people living with Cerebral Palsy. Because of this organisation and all the wonderful people donating to this cause people like my little man Leo have much earlier intervention than ever before which will help them live the absolute best life they can. ... Since 14 weeks old Leo has received weekly Physiotherapy, Hydrotherapy, Occupational therapy & Speech therapy from cerebral palsy alliance (hence why you don’t see me at the salon as often these days) Although Leo has a lot of developmental delays with the help of these amazing people Leo’s movement and gross motor skills have improved through the roof and the chances of him one day walking, having full movement and speech are greatly improved. 06.01.2022 *EDIT They have now lifted the 30 minute restriction this means we can definitely honour current bookings (for now) we will still limit the number of people in the salon at a time meaning that there will be very limited appointments available. We won’t be accepting any new bookings at the moment because we are at full capacity for the social distancing. We desperately want to try and limit the chances of our staff and clients contracting the virus. ... If you are an existing client and needing an appointment please call and leave us a message (we won’t be answering the phones at the moment) and we will let you know if we have an available and safe time for you. We are also available here and on Instagram 30 MINUTES Needless to say this has been the hardest week of my (and our staffs) hairdressing career. We want nothing more then to be able to service our clients in a safe environment but unfortunately with these new restrictions we are so limited with what we are allowed to actually provide you, We started out with distancing our clients and limiting the number of people in the salon but now we have been forced to implement the 30 minute rule. What does this mean..... From now on (or until we are shut down) we can only provide a 30 minute services.... this means 30 minutes from first hello to last goodbye, popping out for 5 minutes does not reset the timer and unfortunately due to insurance and basic safety we can’t allow clients to leave with their colour on and rinse at home. We can no longer offer colours it’s just that simple. At a stretch we can provide a toner and blow dry, a men’s or woman’s cut (possibly with no blow dry) hair and scalp treatments and fringe trims. This will obviously be hard for everyone involved but it is just going to be the new normal for now. This will be a huge financial strain for the salon and staff but these measures have been put in place for our safety and we all need to take this seriously. We will contact clients with future bookings to discuss options but for now we will not be taking any new bookings. Please understand we don’t enjoy this and it is completely out of our hands. This is hard for us all and our staff are struggling enough with the stress of it. Please don’t add to their stress by pushing for something they just can’t do. We hope you all understand. Stay safe x

05.01.2022 Sadly we will be unavailable for appointments for the moment. We need to take a little break in order to make the salon a safer place for our staff and clients. We are currently working on a few options to get retail delivered to your door so stay tuned. We will be working hard to try and be back up and running in a safer way ASAP. We are so sorry for this inconvenience and hope to be back up and running soon.... XO

05.01.2022 We are so excited to welcome Louie to the team. He comes to us with 8 years experience in hairdressing. He has worked and managed salons in China, Tasmania and Adelaide. Louie is a cutting specialist but is also a very talent colourist having worked as a colour technician in China before moving to Australia in 2008.... To help welcome him to the salon we will be offering 20% off all cut and colour services booked with Louie for the rest of August. Appointments are limited and filling fast so get in quick.
