06.01.2022 WHAT IS A WILL AND WHY DO I NEED ONE? No one wants to think about death in the prime of life. But it's important to decide what will happen to your assets when you die. A Will is an important legal document that sets out who you want to receive your assets when you die. Making a Will is the only way you can ensure your assets will be distributed according to your wishes.... CAN I PREPARE MY OWN WILL? Preparing your own Will is not advisable. A Will must conform to strict legal requirements otherwise the Courts may decide it is not valid. Therefore, it is advisable to have your Will professionally drafted by a Solicitor.
