20.01.2022 Happy Birthday beautiful girl. It's such an honour to be asked to host this event in your memory. Craig Egan - Happy Birthday Belinda Schmidt. I thought today would be a good day to announce a little show we are doing in your honour in the 2020 Fringe.... If you have been a regular Fringe or Adelaide Comedy goer over the last 20 years you probably saw one of Adelaide's biggest live music and comedy fans, Belinda Schmidt, wheeling through the festivals. Belinda sadly passed away in July of this year. Chris Franklin will host a bunch of Belle's fav acts in the 2020 Fringe at the Marion Hotel on Feb 23rd. At the request of her family all proceeds going to Novita One of SA's largest providers of disability support. Tickets will go on sale Nov 29th at Fringe Tix.

17.01.2022 Im only doing 4 shows at Adelaide Fringe Festival this year. One is a very special showcase show to remember Belinda Schmidt on Sunday 23rd of Feb, and this one. "An Evening With......" runs for 3 nights at Hells Kitchen in The Rhino Room.... It's an interview/chat show with a different guest each night. Thursday 20th I will be chatting with Dave Gleeson from The Screaming Jets - The Band's Own Page/The Angels Friday 21st I will have a surprise celebrity mystery guest. Saturday 22nd my guest will be Rockin' Rob Riley, who performed with Rose Tattoo Official and wrote some of their biggest hits. 01.01.2022 A few years back I started a project called "Franklin's Favorites". A TV interview show with some of my favorite Aussie musicians. We filmed the pilot with me i...nterviewing my old mate Mark Evans who originally played bass with AC/DC. Since recording this, Mark has joined Rose Tattoo. It's a bit rough around the edges and not the finished product (Intro and credits) but its a bit of something to fill your day if you choose. If you are interested, there is a Mark Evans Fan Group here on Facebook. N.B. There are three music video clips in this piece that I do not own the rights to. I will remove them if requested by the owners.
