06.01.2022 Feedback from one of our lovely Exercise clients: 2020 has been a good year! Two comments have stayed with me, the first when I received my Breast cancer diagnosis back in January and the Doctor said, make 2020 the year when you put yourself first. The second was during a Zoom meeting with Jesse when she said, its all about little steps.... Well, I have put myself first and Im feeling great! Surgery and radiotherapy filled in a few months as the world closed down, something called Covid, but I had other things on my mind. Medication with the potential to affect bone density put me on the path to seek an Exercise Physiologist who could support me with a rehabilitation program to maintain bone strength, increase muscle strength and avoid joint injuries. I found Jesse and under her guidance I have enjoyed a return to the gym after a break of 4 decades! Since May I have been working out, getting stronger and feeling great. Jesse has carefully planned and supervised all my gym sessions, sensitively adjusting activities when needed around the surgery area and challenging me to overcome my excessive caution. Two simple pleasures have been to be able to stand up from the floor (strong legs!!) and the exhilaration of leaving the gym after a session. Oh, and I can run short distances again. Thats pretty good at 63!! Thanks Jess. You have turned a pretty ordinary year into a Blooming good one. See more
