25.01.2022 Competition time! All the staff member at Blooms Junction Street Nowra has been working so hard during this pandemic. We are one of a few pharmacy in town running flu clinics. ... We have increase our delivery service to 5 days a week. We have been compounding hand sanitiser during the shortage. We do our best to provide professional service and advice even though it means extra work load and never ending phone calls, fax and email. All this while obeying the social distancing rule and keeping everyone safe. Unfortunately we are still getting verbally abuse everyday. It is heartbreaking for me to hear this stories as I know how hard everyone at Blooms Junction Street is working. So now I am appealing to our customers. In the comments below please tell us a story on a good experience during the pandemic that a staff member provided. Whether a flu jab, a good advice or just a smile. 18.01.2022 Both our Junction St and Nowra Mall stores would like to assure our customers that we’re doing our utmost to keep everyone safe. We’ve increased the number of ...deliveries to Mon-Fri for Nowra region. We’re also trying to organise deliveries on Fridays for other surrounding areas. Our delivery staff: -Have procedures to adhere to, in order to minimise contact. -Gloves are changed regularly. -They all have hand sanitisers in the car for use. - They wear a face mask - If possible, we try to leave parcel at the door and phone the customer so that they know their medicines have arrived. At store level: -We’re spending the first half hour (Mall) or last half hour (Junction St) cleaning hard surfaces, bench tops and anything that requires cleaning. And cleaning throughout the day. -We’re limiting the number of customers entering the store, ensuring social distancing. At management level: As from last Saturday, we have two separate teams (but there’s still love between the two stores ). There’s no cross over of staff working at Junction St and the Mall. This is to ensure that there’s ALWAYS going to be a team who will be able to look after your medical needs. We generally love a chat but this is not the time. We’re trying to get you out of our pharmacies as soon as possible to protect you. If you’re in the high risk category, we rather you stay home and let us come to you. 07.01.2022 At Blooms The Chemist Junction Street Nowra our main priority is the health and safety of our staff, customers and community. In response to the busy time during this pandemic we appreciate everyone’s understanding. We have made a few changes in store. We also have a couple of recommendations so we can better serve you while keeping you and our staff safe. We have reduced our hours. Monday to Friday we are open from 8am to 5pm, Weekends and Public Holidays 8am to 4pm... We are only allowing 2 customers in at a time. This is to comply with NSW law. When giving us your prescription/s to be dispensed we request that you give us your mobile number so we can message you when your prescription is ready. We recommend you wait in the safety of your car. Please request help from our staff members when purchasing an over the counter product, so they can direct you to its location. When consulting with your doctor through Tele health, we ask that you provide them with your mobile number to be passed along to us. That way we can message you to let you know your prescription is ready and avoid unnecessary waiting. If our phone lines are engaged, please feel free to email us at [email protected] and we will answer your enquiry as soon as we can. We encourage our vulnerable customers to take advantage of our delivery service. We can offer payment over the phone, or Tap-and-Go payment upon delivery. We are selling hand sanitizer, which has been made up according to the WHO recommended formula, with an 80% alcohol content. Compounding prescriptions now have a 24 hour turnaround.
