Basically it was time for Blooms CRONULLA to get fresh new look We are all super excited for the end result BUT don’t worry we will STAY OPEN (our normal business hours) the entire time during the Reno’s THANK YOU for understanding and we appreciate your patience

They had 30- 50 elderly on a wait list for toilet paper. I thought that this is just unacceptable. I reached out to my local community in Grays Point and within 4 hours they not only had enough but said that it had completely lifted their spirits. So I wanted to see if anyone else would be interested in participating and it grew from there. It’s really easy to participate - If you have a spare roll or two of toilet paper please drop to these locations. They know their customers well and will discern who is genuinely in need. Please remember the these are going to the elderly so make sure hygiene methods are followed when handling. IMPORTANT - do not participate if you are sick. Strict hygiene practice are in place. Make sure your hands are clean before handling. Please place rolls in plastic bag - zip lock if possible. They will have a drop off location in store so you don’t need to have physical contact and have measures in place for their staff to follow They will store for 3 days before distributing. Hopefully distributors will have stock in a couple of weeks and this will be a short term need to fill. You will be amazed what that a roll of toilet paper will mean to someone in need that has gone with out. As one pharmacist said to me ...it’s restoring dignity, another loved the community spirit, people donating felt like they could contribute even if the had very little themselves ... you get the gist Thanks Kristy x
